Abstract visual effect - Part 3

This is what you should have on your canvas after the blur filter has been applied.

Duplicate the Strokes Layer, right click on this layer and select Duplicate Layer…

After the layer is duplicated change the blend mode of the layer to Color Burn. I have also moved and transformed the strokes of the layer that was just duplicated to give a little variation.

Next Hold down the CTRL key and select the two stroke layers and merge them by pressing Ctrl+E. Change the Layer Blend mode for this newly created layer to Hard Light.

Here it is recommended that you can change the layer blending modes which best suits your result, good options would be to try from, Color Dodge, Color Burn , Linear Dodge.

Next we need some more strokes, we make use of calligraphic brushes here, if not already present open the brush presets and from the brush menu drop down select the calligraphic brushes and then choose append from the dialogue box that pops up.
