Abstract visual effect - Part 4

Rename this layer to Calligraphy.

In this layer draw some stokes as shown in the image, I have chosen a gray color, R 219 ,G 219, B 219

Apply a Zig Zag filter, do note here that this not a hard or fast rule , you can apply any filter, as far as you are distorting the image in some way or the other, you can even apply multiple filters, an interesting one would be the hard to pronounce Twirl Filter.

I have applied the Zig Zag filter twice, you can also make variations , by moving the object off center and then apply the filter, you will get different results.

This is the result after applying the zig zag filter, you can play around with other distortion filters.

Set the blend mode for this Calligraph layer to Overlay. You should end up with something similar to the image.
